Pompeo Invites Halliburton to "Support" Venezuelans by Extracting Their Oil
Former CIA Director Mike Pompeo has named Halliburton as one of the US oil companies who will soon be able to enter Venezuela to “sell their products” and “support” the Caribbean nation by imposing a “capitalist model.”
Pompeo made the comment during a December 22 appearance on Fox News lauding the hijacking by US forces of a third oil tanker sailing in international waters, which the Trump administration justified by citing the draconian sanctions regime the US has unilaterally foisted on Venezuelans for over a decade.
In 2003, Halliburton was awarded a $7 billion no-bid contract to carry out a program called “Restore Iraqi Oil” in Iraq — a sweetheart deal likely facilitated by Dick Cheney, who ran the company until he became Vice President.
As the the lives of 1,000,000+ Iraqis and thousands of US troops were being claimed in a war of choice launched on false pretenses, Halliburton quickly set to work defrauding American taxpayers. Within 2 years, Pentagon auditors found the company tried to pass off over $1.4 billion in “questioned” and “unsupported” charges onto the US government.
The most vocal neocons may be gone from the Trump administration, but the game remains the same: massive profits for the chosen few, and endless resource wars for everyone else.

More hype for the fake war...
If China was dependant on Venezuela why didn't they pull their muscle to get them into BRICS?
Fake wars are the best wars... Only the paranoid suffer.
